Iran is threatening to cut all cultural relations with the British Museum unless "The Cylinder," an ancient artifact, is delivered within the next two months to the National Museum of Iran. The British Museum recanted its promise to loan Iran The Cylinder, "the world’s earliest charter of human rights," during the aftermath of the Iranian Presidential elections in June. In other words, if the Brits don't ante up, Iran is going cold shoulder.  more »
