Beth B. Pussy Pictures at Deitch Projects

Ok the show was really called "Portraits and Playthings " but everyone just called them the pussy portraits. An interesting fact of that opening was that all the people who had posed for Beth were THERE. Not much to say here except that Mr. Deitch had figured out that sex sells better than anything else, and a good job of it he's certainly done. In order of appearances : Debbie Warner, Ronald Feldman, Peter Fend, unknown gent with shades, Jeffrey Deitch, and of course Mz. Beth B., artist and filmmaker. 1996 BTW - Damn fine show all around by one of NY's best all around artists. Cut from a 30 minute GBTV devoted to Beth B. . Correction - Deborah Warner (first chat)

    Sound artist Debora Warner (spelling correct) grew up in Amherst, NY in a Seventh Day Adventist family. Once married and still on friendly terms with Will Cotton, she spent many years with I-20 gallery and as the squeeze of Leo Koenig. She is a dedicated tri-athlete who trains upstate with fellow knockout Elizabeth Dee
