This is probably the first heavy duty show by the mythic artist Cady Noland, at the highly visible and well-respected Paula Cooper. Painfully shy, I'd never met her but one day we got a note from here saying that she wanted to contribute an artwork to sell for GalleryBeat, because she watched the show on TV. So I went to her studio, she was very sweet and easy to talk to, and she let me pick a piece. It was an aluminum panel with Patty Hearst holding the rifle she had while helping the Symbionese Liberation Army. That was a crazy stunt for sure. Got them all killed by the Feds but Patty left before the slaughter. Cady continues to work, people don't know much about her, and I'd like to see her again. Oh and a goof with Holland Cotter doing a bit for us, this year's Pulitzer Prize winning writer for the New York Times. Crew - Matt Lenski, (16 JD).  Walter Robinison , Sarah, (Paula Cooper)  Holland Cotter (Joe Smidlap)
