Why Not Me!?

One artist took his promotion into his own sticky hands and decided to create sculpture on the face of the Sotheby's building. Sam Bassett was attempting to lure in investors with his tape creation. The victims were supposed to get caught in artist's web on their way into an expensive auction.Too bad this spider who just wanted a bit of market blood was taken away by police. Things are looking good though, Bassett got some flattery from an unexpected party. "The cops liked the concept, one cop called me the new Cristo.", said Bassett. Everyone's a critic!

Sam Bassett is an amazing young talented artist.
I love his work and can’t wait to see what he creates next.

Sam’s photos are ridiculous. The tape is so harmless and fun its inspiring – especially during a time when art bores me to death. More Sam MORE!!

He was not trying to lure investors…
Sam’s been working diligently as an artist for over ten year. The tape expressed his reaction to Sotheby’s auction. I’m glad he had the balls to express himself…
Sam is going to the top!
    Rock on Sam!
